The best view to the “world of learning” for your child starts with the Glenview Park District’s Park Center Preschool classes for three and four year olds. Our program is designed to give your child the tools and experiences he/she needs to assure a positive transition to kindergarten and beyond.
Preschool Tours and Orientation
Prospective parents are welcome to make an appointment
for a tour of the preschool and to observe our Park Center Preschool classes for three and four year olds. These tours are usually conducted in January prior to our February registration for the following year. For

Learning through Play
Utilizing a “Learning Through Play” philosophy, our Park Center Preschool classes:
- Encourage your child to explore, discover, problem-solve and build self-esteem

The 4’s curriculum has been developed to meet the specific skills needed in preparing a child for kindergarten. Our program is challenging and ever-expanding. It includes readiness in reading, literature, writing, math, science, art, music, listening/speaking, gross/fine motor skills, social and emotional readiness.

To maintain an ongoing relationship with our 2 and 3 year old families,
Park Center Preschool will offer
priority registration for the 2009-2010
school year beginning in January 2009.
The 2008-09 school year begins the week of September 8, ends the week of May 11 and follows the District 34 school calendar for non-attendance days. We strictly adhere to our entry age requirements for preschool classes. Non-resident fees are 25% higher than shown here. All Park Center Preschool classes are held at Park Center, 2400 Chestnut Avenue. Registration and Payment Information
Registration for 2008-2009 Park Center Preschool classes began in February. To inquire about class openings, call (847) 724-5670.
