Dairy Breakfast and Farm Day

Saturday, June 14, 8 am-1 pm

Enjoy a delicious farm-style breakfast including a
variety of dairy items. Farm tours, demonstrations,
hay rides, and plenty of hands-on activities
throughout the morning. Winner of the Illinois
Park & Recreation Association's 2006
Special Event of the Year.

$10 for adults and children over 10
$5 for children 2-10 years
Children under 2 free

Purchase tickets at the door.

Glenview Farmer's Market

Saturdays, 8 am-noon
June 21-Oct. 11

The Glenview Farmer's Market is a free weekly
event held in the parking lot directly opposite the Wagner Farmhouse, 1510 Wagner Rd. Find
a bounty of seasonal fruits and vegetables,
a delightful selection of flowers, homemade
jellies and preserves, artisan breads,
fresh-baked goods and other items grown and produced by area farmers. In addition to the fresh produce, the Farmer's Market will feature
live entertainment, kids' activities, nutritious recipes, and cooking demonstrations from celebrated
and up-and-coming chefs.

The Glenview Farmer's Market is open rain
or shine. Free parking is available in the adjacent parking lot of the St. Peter and Paul Church at the corner of Lake and Wagner Roads.

Saturday Farm Activities

When you're done shopping, stop by the farm! Visit the animals in the barn, sit on the antique tractor and explore Glenview's farming history at the Heritage Center.

Farmhouse Living History Tours
Every Saturday, 10 am-4 pm. Take a tour of the Wagner Farmhouse with our costumed interpreters.

Farmer's Market Storytimes
10 am, call 847-657-1506 for dates. Join the
Glenview Library's librarians on select Saturdays
for free storytime performances. Bring a blanket or folding chair and meet on the covered porch at the Heritage Center.
