Janell is a NASM certified personal trainer, CFSC and holds a BS from Northeastern Illinois.  She taught children fitness for more than 10 years and transitioned into a fitness coach for adults. Her expertise is general fitness, core strengthening, flexibility training, strength/conditioning and athletic performance.

Jordan Brandwein

Jordan Brandwein is a NASM certified personal trainer and a paramedic/firefighter. His expertise is strength training and fat loss.  Jordan believes fitness should be a part of everyone’s life, whether to move better in daily life or improving in a sport.  Jordan focuses on mobility, getting stronger and getting leaner.

Karen Christianson

Karen is an ACE certified personal trainer.  She holds two BAs from Aurora University and Dominican University. Her specialties are general strength conditioning, balance/mobility, pre/post hip/knee replacement, active aging adult and Parkinson wellness recovery.  She meets clients from where they are at currently and helps them reach attainable goals.

Kathy DiPietro is an ACE certified personal trainer and life coach with a Master’s degree in Psychology from National Louis University. Kathy has worked in the fitness industry over 25 years. As a fitness leader, she introduces people of all ages how to begin the practice of daily exercise and help achieve fitness goals.

Allyson Flood

Allyson is an ISSA certified personal trainer and holds a BS from University of Kansas.  She specializes in pre/post pregnancy. Her passion is allowing her clients to move forward in their fitness goals by endorsing physical fitness as physical therapy for one’s body.

Chung Ham

Chung is a NSCA Certified Strength/Conditioning Specialist and Personal Trainer, a NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist and Performance Enhancement Specialist and an ASFA kettlebell instructor.  Chung holds a BA, BS, and MS from Western Illinois University. He believes fitness is for everyone and an important part of a balanced lifestyle. His motto is “keep moving”.

Jeff Hosfield

Jeff is an ACE certified personal trainer and holds a BS from Northern Illinois and MA from Trinity. He has worked with a variety of clients including Parkinson’s patients, autistic, overweight, bodybuilders, runners and more. He has a background in kickboxing and is a brains/balance specialist. His aim is to make workouts fun, challenging, effective and safe.

Brian Kier

Brian is an ACE Certified Personal Trainer, a Licensed Massage Therapist and holds a BA from Northeastern Illinois University. Brian’s top priority is listening to the needs and goals of each client, and working with them to achieve them in the safest way possible. Brian will make each session effective and fun.

Brian is an ACE certified personal trainer and CEC in senior strength and conditioning. He is a retired firefighter/paramedic. Brian works with individuals of all ages to improve quality of life through exercise and fitness.

Pat is a certified strength coach, personal trainer, indoor cycling instructor, triathlon and bicycle coach. His certifications are from NASM, ACE, CFSC, USA Triathlon and USA Cycling. He possesses knowledge, skills and abilities for safe, effective exercise and fitness program design, instruction and assistance to reach personal health and fitness goals.

Anna Malik

Anna is an ACE and NSCA certified personal trainer with over fifteen years of experience in the fitness industry.  She has trained at the Glenview Park District for fifteen years.  Her specialties are weight loss, overall functional movement and maintaining a healthy life style.

Andy Santos

Andy is a NASM certified personal trainer, corrective exercise specialist and functional strength coach. He holds a BS from the University of Illinois-Chicago and has a 3rd-degree black belt in Shotokan Karate and has represented Team USA twice. His specialties are general fitness, weight loss, kickboxing, martial arts and sports performance.

Adam Smiley

Adam is a NASM certified trainer and holds a BS from Carroll University. His expertise is strength/core training, fat loss, athletic performance enhancement and sprinting. He was an all-American sprinter and runs the Smiley School of Speed. Workouts are varied, dynamic, fast paced interspersing bursts of cardio with strength training circuits.

Cheri is a NASM certified personal trainer, health education specialist, group fitness instructor, registered yoga teacher and REIKI practitioner. She holds a BS from Northeastern Illinois University. She specializes in functional fitness designed to meet the ever-changing needs and goals of each body.

Drew Surinsky

Drew is a certified strength/conditioning specialist and has advanced certifications as a Triathlon/Swim Coach, USAT level II and ASCA level II. He holds a MS from Northeastern Illinois University. As a Parkinson Exercise Specialist, Drew is certified in PWR! Moves, Rock Steady Boxing and Delay the Disease. His philosophy is in the rock, paper, scissors of exercise – “smart beats tough”.

Kathy is an AFAA certified personal trainer and group exercise instructor.  She is also a Mad Dogg Athletics certified spinning instructor, certified Shockwave instructor and a RRCA certified endurance coach. She enjoys working with clients of all abilities and ages to reach their goals and prove “Yes You Can!”

Mary is a NASM certified personal trainer and massage therapist. She has worked and believes in the concept of Fitness for Life for nineteen years. She enjoys teaching senior strength classes connecting with clients on developing day to day exercises to maintain flexibility, strength, and balance.

David is a NASM certified personal trainer and a senior fitness specialist. He is also certified in PWR! Moves, TRX and has an ASEP coaching license. He believes in training core, stability, strength and conditioning for the foundation of proper movement.

Amy is a certified Gyrotonic, Pilates and Yoga instructor through Ana Forest Basic/Advanced Teacher Training and Romana’s Pilates. She also studied Anasura Yoga, Iyengar Yoga, anatomy courses, Thai Yoga Massage, therapeutics and various meditation workshops. Amy teaches with clarity, compassion and dedication.

Nicole Dukatt

Nicole is a Power Pilates certified instructor specializing in Classical Pilates. Certifications include: The Pink Ribbon Program, Post Rehabilitative Breast Cancer Exercise Specialist, Thomas Myers Anatomy Training, Myofacial Meridians Kinesis, Barre Fitness Method Training and TRX. Nicole believes in working the body as a whole, focusing on the individual’s needs.

Dawn Friedman

Dawn is a certified Pilates instructor through Romana’s Pilates training program and a Northwestern graduate. She teaches on all apparatus and group mat classes. Dawn’s expertise is working with clients recovering from injuries, cancer and chronic disease. She finds gratification in helping clients become stronger and more flexible, but also to move without pain.

Kristen is a certified Pilates trainer and an AFAA group fitness instructor. She holds a BA from Augustana. Kristen is trained on all Pilates apparatus including Mat, Reformer, Cadillac and Wunda Chair. Her passion is teaching Classical Pilates focusing on training clients how to move their bodies and improve their posture to facilitate pain-free movement.
