Synchronized Skating Teams

Synchronized skating is a team sport in which 8-20 skaters perform a program together. The Glenview Ice Center is proud to be the home of the Glenview Blades. Our teams follow the guidelines of U.S. Figure Skating Basic Skills Synchronized Skating program.

Synch Skating-Nov2013Clinics and tryouts for these teams occur every April/May.

The success of Glenview’s Synchronized Skating teams is due in large part to the efforts of the team families who make up the Glenview Blades Organization. Blades families volunteer at various events throughout the year. The bulk of their volunteer efforts are geared towards fundraising to help defray team costs of items such as costumes, tights, t-shirts, team dinners, competition entry fees and more.
