Covid-19 Update

The Glenview Tennis Club is now open as part of Phase 3 of the Restore Illinois plan. Access to the club is currently limited to those who have reserved court time or 1-on-1 lessons. If you have taken lessons in the past, you can contact your favorite pro directly. If you are a new customer or interested in learning more, please email our Tennis Club General Manager Mark Baladad at mark.baladad@glenviewparks.org for more details to get started.

Please take a minute to familiarize yourself with some of these changes so that your experience is as seamless as possible.

  • Please arrive no more than 10 minutes prior to your reservation
  • The lounge furniture has been removed to avoid congregating before and after play.
  • Masks are required will in the club but may be removed on the court
  • Benches, scorekeepers, garbage and recycling bins have been removed
  • Please bring your own water bottle as drinking fountains have been turned off.  A bottle filler is available in the fitness area
  • Restrooms and high touch areas will be sanitized on a regular basis
  • Demo rackets are no longer available
  • Avoid high fives and handshakes at the end of play
  • Coffee service has been suspended
  • The snack vending machine is turned off.  Drinks may still be purchased but change is not available

The health and safety of our players is our top priority. We are continuing to prepare our facility, staff, and procedures for a safe return to tennis at the Glenview Tennis Club.

We will be open the following hours:

Monday-Friday: 9 a.m.-5 p.m. (based on court usage)
Saturday & Sunday: 9 a.m.-12 p.m. (if raining)

Court Reservations

Court rates will be based on our indoor non-prime rates as follows:

  • $22 per hour for members with 7-day advanced reservations
  • $24 per hour for nonmembers with 24 hours advanced reservations

We are asking for all court reservations to be paid in advance by credit card.  If you are unable to pay at the time of your reservation it will be placed in your household so you can pay it online. Cash payments are not being accepted at this time.

Court bookings will be staggered (odd courts start on the hour; even courts on the half hour) to reduce customer traffic and limited to one hour blocks. You may play two hours consecutively.

Outdoor Courts

The park district’s 39 outdoor courts are also available for tennis and pickleball play. Click here for park locations. Please continue to follow the Playing It Safe guidelines.
