The Glenview Park District welcomes donations from individuals and organizations to expand and enhance recreation opportunities in our community. Donation options include:

Leisureship Program

Provided by a partnership between The Glenview Park Foundation, Glenview State Bank, Glenview Youth Services and the Glenview Park District, recreation leisureships are available throughout the year to those families who find it difficult or otherwise impossible to register their children for park district programs due to financial constraints. You can help with this important program by making a tax deductible donation. Please send a check payable to the Glenview Park District to: Glenview Park District Youth Leisureship Fund, 1930 Prairie St., Glenview, IL 60025.

Major Gifts

The Glenview Park District also offers individuals and organizations the opportunity to make arrangements for major gifts such as underwriting the cost of playgrounds, buildings and additions or funding an endowment program. For those who may be interested in learning more about these opportunities, please contact Michael McCarty at or 224-521-2250.

Glenview Park Foundation

Since 1996, the Glenview Park Foundation has raised more than $2 million to support the park district in the delivery of recreation programs, services and facilities and to provide healthy recreational events for the Glenview community. These funds have been used to build playgrounds, recast the Jackman Bear statue and build the surrounding plaza, provide community grants, and build parks and facilities throughout Glenview.
